New!

April 29th, 2012 § 0 comments § permalink

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged – I’ve been a bad blogger and a very busy bee.  Anyway – as promised here is some new work.

I don’t know if I mentioned before I’ve been working for Yumi – doing their graphics for web etc. – anyway the website has a major redesign about 2 months ago and so we decided to do something quite fun and illustrative – and yay for me, got to draw some more birds ta daa

I’ve updated my website a little bit also – nothing major, just took down some old work to make space for new things

I won’t leave it so long to blog again promise :)

Hi strangers!!

I’ve been a bad blogger, I think my last post was in November? eeek! Well I’m back. I’ve been a very busy girl. But its 2012 now, and there are lots of creative plans :) It’s probably too late to do a new years resolutions blog, but it does involve more blogging.

Us T&C girls have been working on some illustrationy goodness, lots of plans for our year ahead.   We already have some wondrous things to feast your eyes over at Tea & Crayons HQ

I have some new work to share but it’s not been published just yet so come back soon, I’ll hopefully be more organised with my blog and updating my website.

Hope you’ve had a good weekend loves x

Christmas Owls

November 16th, 2011 § 1 comment § permalink

Helloo! Sorry for the lack of updates!

Between the new job and moving in my new flat – and a lack of internet, it’s taken me a while to catch up with the world wide web! I’m back now anyway, I have a few things to share :) I dont know if I mentioned earlier, I took a job as designer for Yumi London so I’ve been busy beavering away making them lots of visual things.

Anyway one of my first projects was to come up with some Christmas Owls for the Christmas window displays. So I made a few super cute little owls to hang from the ceilings and among the displays, and they’re mega cute. If you’re in London you can probably see the shops around and about, but my sister managed to snap this little piccie in Kingston.

Hope you’re all feeling festive! I was drawing snowflakes in octobers heatwave – surreal.

Hello pretty things! It’s been a while since I’ve posted any daily inspirations so here’s a couple of things I’m enjoying this week

People in walls

My darling sister had a photoshoot for her first year collection recently and I lended a creative eye :) The results are some very lovely sleek looking photographs. I enjoy all the shades of black.

She’s posted a video of the collection on her blog along with other Kingston students who presented at London Fashion week this year. Some super interesting collections, have a gander.

Tea, Postcards & Book binding fun

Happy Sunday!
Are you all having a good weekend? Last sunday myself and crayonette Rachel Lewis went along to Homemade London to take part in a crafty filled day with Domestic Sluttery making postcards and drinking tea! An ideal sunday afternoon.

We went along early to join in the bookbinding workshop which was super fun (and for someone who hasn’t picked up a needle and thread since school – surprisingly easy!)

Ta daa… aren’t our notebooks adorable?!

Rachel L – hard at work cutting and sticking postards :)

My postcard – a work in progress

We had a lovely day, many thanks to the girls at Homemade London and Domestic Sluttery!
